Jodi Switzer is the Water Program Director for the Farm Bureau of Ventura County. With over 14 years of experience in water resource regulatory compliance, she previously served as the Environmental Compliance Manager at her alma mater, the University of California, Santa Barbara.​

Ben Fischetti is a 3rd generation civil engineer. He graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and currently is the Engineering Manager for the Ventura County Public Works Agency, Land Development Services Division where he oversees administration of the County Grading and Floodplain Development Ordinances.​

Julia received both her Bachelor’s and master’s from the University of Maryland where she studied apple physiology and raspberry post-harvest. She continued to study apple breeding at Washington State University where she earned her PhD. Julia worked with pears and strawberries before joining Duda Farm Fresh Foods as the celery breeder.

Mohammad received his doctorate in Entomology from UC Davis. After his postdoc, he worked for Bayer in Tennessee managing efficacy trials in cotton, corn, and soy. He joined the Strawberry Center at the end of 2023 and enjoys the fact that he can finally eat the crop he studies without cooking or processing it. 

Dr. Headrick teaches Agricultural Entomology, Biological Control of Agricultural Pests, Vertebrate Pest Management, and Insect Pest Management at Cal Poly.  He earned his PhD from UC Riverside in 1992 where he studied biological control.

Dr. Milosavljević is an IPM Entomologist at the Citrus Research Board. Previously, he served as a Supervisory Project Scientist at the University of California Riverside. He holds a Ph.D. in Entomology from Washington State University, and a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Crop Protection from the University of Belgrade, Serbia.
